Description:
Kdenlive 0.8-3 freshly installed displays this error message:

Fatal Error
Error starting MLT’s command line player (melt). MLT’s
SDL module not found. Please check your MLT install.
kdenlive will not work until this issue is fixed.

Suggestions to remove the kdenliverc from .kde4/share/config does not fix this.

The problem seems to be with MLT 0.7.4-1.1. If MLT is downgraded to 0.7.2-1.1 then Kdenlive will work. (changing version in the ABS PKGBUILD works if you did a -Sc recently)

Steps to reproduce:
Try to run Kdenlive on an up-to-date system.
