Details

glib-networking requires that gsettings-desktop-schemas be installed, but that package is only relevant for systems running GNOME. It's possible it's necessary as a makedepend (I've not checked), but should be an optional or non-dependency for regular installs.

basically glib-networking handles proxy and the proxy configuration is saved in gsettings, schema that is available in gsettings-desktop-schemas.

i don't get it, you basically cry for 41.77kb download and 300kb installed size?
