Reason for closing:  Upstream
Additional comments about closing:  official openjdk6 pkg works fine. only new jre ver7 is broken and not even recommended by Oracle.

Works for me. Try removing the local config dir.

Yes, local config dir (~/.config/.libreoffice/3) after upgrade has root permission and inaccessible to other users.

Same for me except that Open office starts.
After upgrade libreoffice packages and run libreoffice
in console, I get following message:
javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!
Warning: failed to read path from javaldx

removing the local config dir > does not work
same problem as root.

libreoffice 3.4.2-1 x86_64
jre 7-2

Please close this task and admit my apologize. I didn't notice
that libreoffice packages had been splited in 3.4.2 version.
In short, after install libreoffice-writer libteoffice-calc, etc...
everything work perfect.

Greetings,
Miroslaw

PS. I have still following messages when I run `libreoffice --write
r` into console...

javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!
Warning: failed to read path from javaldx

...so seems no connection between break java enviroment and libreoffice

for information, my installation has : libreoffice-common libreoffice-calc libreoffice-draw libreoffice-fr libreoffice-gnome libreoffice-impress libreoffice-writer libreoffice-extension-ct2n libreoffice-extension-numbertext libreoffice-extension-pdfimport libreoffice-extension-presentation-minimizer
and jre (not openjdk6).
