Description:
Virtualbox causes kernel panic on every shut down on host machine after reinstalling kernel modules using /etc/rc.d/vboxdrv setup. Virtualbox version is 4.1.0-2. Steps to reproduce: 1) Install virtualbox 2) Setup kernel modules 3) Try to shut down machine (kernel panic occures at the very end of the shut down sequence) |

modprobe -r vboxdrv

The problem only appears at power off, but not on reboot.
put this into /etc/rc.local.shutdown:
modprobe -r vboxdrv
