Synctex set with Kile + Okular

Procedure:
Open a tex project in Kile.
Enable synctex.
Execute PDFLatex.
Execute ForwardPDF in an arbritary position of text.

Result: Okular is open but it remains at the last opened page.

Note 1: Inverse search works (Okular -> Kile)
Note 2: When reverting to 2010 version, forward-search works.

sorry, but isn't this more likely a texlive bug than a kile or okular bug?

Yes, I think it is a synctex fault in texlive-bin package.

It happened at sometime when upgrading texlive to testing and new kde version (stable), and in a first glance, I supposse that was an Okular issue, but after doing some text and searching for a solution, I really noticed that it was from texlive.

Adding texlive maintainer.

From the links it seems that though the path created by the 2011 synctex has changed, it is nevertheless valid. Hence it is more a problem with the pdf readers than with synctex IMO. The solution given by someone here https://gist.github.com/1183936/43df0f9da44bf3fb7859c361674eb5be931bc78c seems to work for me with kile and okular provided the .tex is in a folder called 'thesis'.
