when doing aif automatic net install, $repo and $arch are not filled for FILE_URL and/or SYNC_URL paths for the first run, eg. core.
(just an assumption)

`aif -p automatic -d -c /usr/share/aif/examples/generic-install-on-sda`

[workaround]
(add:)
repo="core"
arch="x86_64"
(to the top of the generic-install-on-sda file)

happens also on i686
workaround works too (arch="i686")

oh, forgot to add that you need to modify the generic-install-on-sda to do a net install in the first place:
