I was following official beginners guide during installation. Iso (netinstall) was downloaded from official Arch download page.

The problem occurs during setting mountpoints and choosing ext4 as filesystem. The installer displays error: "error mounting /dev/sdb1/ as mnt/" and similar one, for each partition/mountpoint. Besides that it is possible to continue with installation, and there seems to be no problem. Installation fails on last stage - installing bootloader (because of grub Error 15).

There should be information on beginners guide page and/or download page, that even though ext4 is available as one of the options, one will not be able to complete installation if one of his partitions (especially stage1) should be (or already is like /home in my example) formatted as ext4.
Also there should be a link to test iso, that makes that possible.

This task depends upon

Please test with, testbuild, official live iso (2010.05) is really out-of-date. http://releng.archlinux.org/isos
