Description: After upgrading hdf5 to version 1.8.7-1, octave does not start because it cannot find an hdf5 library file. I have also tried with an octave 3.4.2 (slightly newer than the version in extra) package that I built and it also does not work.

Additional info:
* octave 3.4.0-2, hdf5 1.8.7-1

Steps to reproduce:

Attempt to run octave. You will get the error message

octave: error while loading shared libraries: libhdf5.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
