Details

Hi, I installed syslinux from core and when running it, I got this error:
victor@volte ~]$ sudo syslinux /dev/sdb1
sh: mcopy : commande introuvable
syslinux: failed to create ldlinux.sys

I had to install mtools for it to work.

I guess this is a missing dependency :)

perl-digest-sha1: For sha1pass
mtools: For mkdiskimage and syslinux


usually exlinux is used to install

ho you are right, I'm confused!

But why would it be optional, the package is named syslinux!!

syslinux (the bootloader) is only used for FAT
