this has nothing to do with arch. Report this functional bug to lightning and mozilla developers.
Comment by SweetthD3ViL (SweetthD3ViL) - Thursday, 07 July 2011, 11:01 GMT
Sorry I should have clarify why I do report the bug there.

The bug appear after an update 10 days or so ago, and neither thunderbird or lightning were update at that time - which would indicate it's due to a lib bug.

Also the fact no bug has been reported to thunderbird/lightning would also suggest it is not related to thunderbird/lightning.

Should you require any further details, please do not hesitate to contact me,

Regards,

10 days ago thunderbird was updated to version 5 and lightning to 1.0b4.

you say that is crashing please provide a proper backtrace. Note that you need to remove some flags from mozconfig too like
ac_add_options --disable-debug
ac_add_options --enable-strip
ac_add_options --enable-optimize

i don't see any crash in this log
Comment by SweetthD3ViL (SweetthD3ViL) - Thursday, 07 July 2011, 12:59 GMT
No I know, thunderbird doesn't crash itself, the window `alert` when you have a reminder crash, it appear very briefly (less than a second) and then disappear.

But looking at the `error console` from thunderbird, I have 6 message coming from the same file .
