DetailsDescription: If an attempt to connect to a wireless access point fails on my system the wireless card, Atheros AR9285, is powered down for some reason and I have to run "ifconfig wlan0 up" as root to get the interface back up. I know that reproducing this will be hard because it depends on the connection failing, netcfg fails with "DHCP lease failed" before the card is powered down. The timeout for the interface is set to 60 seconds and all the networks I have been trying with are open hot spots.
Additional info: * package version(s) kernel26: 2.6.39.2-1 and netcfg: 2.5.5-1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: |
