DetailsThe title says it all. The pacman output asks me to migrate to the new configuration with separate daemons:
[2011-06-29 17:41] Please migrate to the new daemon format: [2011-06-29 17:41] /etc/rc.d/courier-imap has been split into separate daemons: [2011-06-29 17:41] imapd, imads-ssl, pop3d, pop3d-ssl [2011-06-29 17:41] This elimates the need for /etc/conf.d/courier-imap [2011-06-29 17:41] Update your /etc/rc.conf and manually add the desired daemons. Make sure [2011-06-29 17:41] you first start authdaemond before any other of these daemons. [2011-06-29 17:41] Example prior to this change: [2011-06-29 17:41] DAEMONS=( ... courier-mta ...) [2011-06-29 17:41] Example after this change: [2011-06-29 17:41] DAEMONS=( ... authdaemond esmtpd esmtpd-ssl imapd imapd-ssl [2011-06-29 17:41] pop3d pop3d-ssl webmaild ... ) [2011-06-29 17:41] This allows better control over the daemons and will generate [2011-06-29 17:41] correct entries in /run/daemons [2011-06-29 17:41] An old configuration will keep working but please do migrate in time [2011-06-29 17:41] as support for this will be removed some time in 2012. However, there is no esmtpd and esmtpd-ssl in /etc/rc.conf. |
