DetailsWhenever you run GL apps nvidia complains about permissions.
The fix is to edit /etc/udev/permissions.d/udev.permissions and comment (#) the nvidia line Then chmod 666 /dev/nvidia* Easy to fix, but severity=medium because no GL app will run until you do this (maybe it should be set even higher) |

i would suggest that you put your user to group video

I just did an install yesterday of Xorg and the NVidia drivers. I found that there wasn't a video group to begin with so I had to create one before I could add the user to group video.
