Description:
Rhythmbox crashes with message:

(rhythmbox:17140): Gdk-WARNING **: The GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS environment variable is not supported in GTK3.
See the documentation for gdk_window_ensure_native() on how to get native windows.

that crash comes from your environment. you exported GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS

env | grep -i gdk

care to share the reasons causing rhythmbox to crash before closing as works for me?

I honestly don't know the reasons and can't reproduce it anymore. I had some (kernel?) problems after wakeup so maybe this was the reason.
