Description:
Recently, I have been having trouble connecting to my family's Linksys WPA-encrypted wireless router. I can connect to my neighbor's unencrypted network okay, but when I try to connect to our WPA-encrypted network, the network manager asks for the root password and then for the wireless password. I enter in the wireless password, the network manager tries to connect and authenticate, fails, and then asks for the wireless password again. This continues and the network manager is never able to connect. Additional info: Using Broadcom BCM4312 wireless card with b43 wireless driver. Kernel version 2.6.39-ARCH Network Manager with GNOME network manager applet. XFCE Desktop Environment Steps to reproduce: |

i have 4311 and wpa2 works fine for me with b43

FS#24895?Looks like you don't run gnome-keyring? Also i can spot that networkmanager connects.
