DetailsDescription:
After running a system update today, I tried to play an MPEG4 file with AC3 audio in mpd, and mpd segfaulted. I reverted to ffmpeg 20110330-2 and tried playing it again, and it didn't crash. Additional info: * package version(s) ffmpeg 20110622-1 mpd 0.16.3-1 * config and/or log files etc. When it crashes, it generates output like this in /var/log/everything.log: Jun 25 04:56:56 localhost mpd: mp4ff: No AAC track found Jun 25 04:56:56 localhost kernel: [11641.426532] mpd[2307]: segfault at 13 ip 00007ff143a3fbba sp 00007ff13863caa0 error 6 in libavformat.so.52.110.0[7ff143993000+df000] Steps to reproduce: Try to play an MPEG4 file with AC3 audio in mpd. Alternately, put an MPEG4-AC3 file into mpd's music directory and tell mpd to rescan the directory -- this also made it crash when I tried it. |
