A problem related to FLV has been found in VLC 1.1.9 and the first build of VLC 1.1.10.
A new build of VLC 1.1.10 has been made so please download again the latest build of VLC 1.1.10 which should fix the problem.


I'm experiencing this bug on 1.1.10-4 it says that vlc 1.1.10 was updated but they didn’t update the linux source?

I tried with git version and that also failed so i think the problem might be in ffmpeg.

yes ffplay works somewhat but

i get

downgrading to x264-20110327-1 ffmpeg-20110330-2 vlc-1.1.10-2 seems to fix this

imo this is a bug in vlc. report it upstream and in your report say that we are using ffmpeg 0.7 branch
