X segfaults randomly after a few hours of usage. So far it only happens when i interact with the mouse/keyboard, it has never happened overnnight yet. Interestingly when this happens i still see a X process in ps and the mouse still moves. Though it is impossible to click on anything. The Xorg.0.log shows a crash and a backtrace. The only way to fix the problem is to init 3, kill the leftover X process, init 5. Additional info: I use the latest version of all packages with the nouveau driver on a NV96 graphics card and a dual screen setup under KDE. Graphics effects are activated.
