Testing clementine from svn and r300g yields the same results.

Seems to work here.

clementine 0.7.1-5
kde 4.6.3
nvidia 275.09.07-1

A guess, what desktop are you running? Can you try with a different DE (qt/gtk/*box)? Maybe it's theme related.

@svenstaro : what graphic card/driver are you using ?

@stephane^ i have conducted some experiments with qt and other dm's and find out that flickering IS happening with non-standart themes of qt (when you choose "desktop settings" in qt config).. so your guess was correct

i used oxygen, qtcurve, etc. all with same result. So i think is qt to blame
but i never seen such behaviour in other qt-related software

should i request for closure or wait for more info?

I think you should report this upstream (to clementine devs).

I'm on r300g with a rv515 (ATI 2xxxM).

It works on any other theme than Oxygen here. You have to restart Clementine in between for the changes to take effect on the timeslider though even though all other widgets change immediately. Certainly not a packaging bug though. Please post the upstream bug report in this bug so we can track it.

Alright thanks, I marked it as upstream for now.

Does it work with 1.0.0 ?
