hi it's already backported to kde 3_4 Branch expect that this will be fixed in 3.4.1 if you need it now please patch it on your own via ABS tree, check out the needed file from kde web cvs and copy it over the existing file before starting make.
kdelibs is a huge package so a rebuild only to fix this is not really needed, i'll consider this when a security issue will come up, else you have to wait for kde 3.4.1.

Else i had to rebuild kde every week when the new newsletter is out with the backports.
