Description:
pcmanfm needs package "gnome-icon-theme" to display icons correctly.
If gnome-icon-theme isn't installed, pcmanfm still runs normally, however no icons are displayed.
So maybe we should add gnome-icon-theme and gnome-icon-theme-extras as an optional dependency of pcmanfm?

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:

No, you need an iconset, so you need to install any iconset,

Maybe the correct thing is to make clear on the installation of the package the needing of an iconset (in order to display them).

Otherwhise we will have to suggest all the iconsets that we have on the directory or install one of them that probably many people won't like it.

Here's part of log messages generated by pcmanfm:
It seems that pcmanfm looks for icons in a gtk-related way(GThemeIcon).

** (pcmanfm:10337): DEBUG: unable to load icon user-home
** (pcmanfm:10337): DEBUG: unable to load icon user-desktop
** (pcmanfm:10337): DEBUG: unable to load icon user-trash
** (pcmanfm:10337): DEBUG: unable to load icon system-software-install
** (pcmanfm:10337): DEBUG: unable to load icon . GThemedIcon drive-harddisk-usb drive-harddisk drive
** (pcmanfm:10337): DEBUG: unable to load icon folder
** (pcmanfm:10337): DEBUG: unable to load icon . GThemedIcon folder inode-directory gnome-mime-inode-directory inode-x-generic
** (pcmanfm:10337): DEBUG: unable to load icon . GThemedIcon text-plain gnome-mime-text-plain text-x-generic application-x-executable
** (pcmanfm:10337): DEBUG: unable to load icon . GThemedIcon text-x-emacs-lisp gnome-mime-text-x-emacs-lisp text-x-generic application-x-executable

And also, I tried remove gnome-icon-theme* and install the following packages:
* oxygen-icons
* lxde-icon-theme
* archlinux-artwork
And none of the 3 can make pcmanfm display any icon.
human-icon-theme and hicolor-icon-theme depends on gnome-icon-theme.
These are almost all packages about icons I can think of.
I don't know if there is any other package that can make pcmanfm display icons.

Hope these information would be helpful to you :-)

Of course any of these packages works, you just have to configure them on your .gtkrc-mine ... use lxappareance to select the icon theme and try again, please. (btw I'm using nuovext2 icontheme)

I really should read wiki carefully first.
I managed to use lxde-icon-theme instead of the huge gnome-icon-theme.
Thank you very much, and sorry for wasting your time.
