Description:
System upgrade stops and umounts the system. And so the system doesnt boot anymore. Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Install Arch Linux Upgrade Pacman Mount another partition in /mnt And then simply try to upgrade the system. The error occurs when installing the iana-etc package. Probably it isnt the /mnt, seems like the installer is doing a "rm -rf /" or "umount" |

Is this really reproducible? I can't understand how this is
related to a pair of text files in /etc and a LICENSE file. I've
had multiple partitions mounted in /mnt for months now, and have
upgraded iana-etc on my own several times. Something else is awry,
and you've provided very little information to go on.
