Description: Prior to upgrade from kernel26-2.6.38-ARCH,
wireless performance was excellent I had a near non
concerning Invalid misc value and no Tx excessive retries
from the output of iwconfig:

Anyway, in the changelog for 2.6.39.2 there is an comment which claims to address a wireless performance issue:
