Detailspacman -Qg <package> doesn't display all groups the specified package is part of, as it is said in the pacman manpage.
I think pacman expects a group name instead of a package name, since if you use pacman -Qg kde, it shows all packages in kde group, but when using pacman -Qg kdebase, it reports: Group "kdebase" was not found. |

I believe the man page is simply wrong and that the -Qg option is working as intended. I will have to get back to you on this, however.
