I'd just like to point out that this is not strictly speaking necessary, though I do agree it should be done.

Also, if we are going to change the standard fstab, maybe we should add a default entry for /tmp as tmpfs? This is almost always the correct thing to do, though not everyone is aware of it (judging by discussions on irc, FS and ml). I guess making it standard would push people in the right direction?
