I think that perl should add a perl.conf file in /etc/ld.so.conf.d/ so that /usr/lib/perl5/core_perl/CORE/ be added in the standard library path (I don't know the exact name). Currently, binaries and libraries that links to libperl.so need to make use of rpath otherwise the library isn't found. Sometime it requires patching and creates bugs like rrdtool W: Referenced library 'libperl.so' is an uninstalled dependency |
