With the new gnome-menu version gnome's "Desktop" menu on the panel is full of junk that there should not be there. Not only the Applications menu include junk folders now, e.g. Edutainment, Settings, Utilities, these folders are now duplicated on Desktop's menu.

Yup, that's what we call "KDE Legacy menus", isn't it wonderful (NOT :X)
I will package a fixed version tomorrow that removes these items from the menus.
The problem is that the new version includes legacy KDE menu settings in the menu. In /opt/gnome/etc/xdg/menus you have to get rid of de KDELegacy tags in there.
