DetailsWhen a package is moved from one repo, call it RepoA, to another, call it RepoB, and the release number is incremented, paman does not recognize the new, higher numbered
package with a "pacman -Syu" until the user manually goes and removes the directory /var/lib/pacman/RepoA/{package-name}. |

This is by design, pacman installs the package found in the first repository it is in, unless specified with a pacman -S current/packagename.
