Description:
Since vlc-1.1.9-2, video capture with v4l is no longer working; only v4l2 works. With vlc-1.1.9-1 both v4l and v4l2 work.
Tested only on x86_64, no info about i686.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
v4l-utils 0.8.4-1
kernel26 2.6.38.7-1

* config and/or log files etc.

Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0c45:613e Microdia PC Camera (SN9C120)

Steps to reproduce:
1) Install vlc-1.1.9-2 (I can provide package if needed)
2) Media->Open Capture Device...
3) In "Capture Mode" selection menu, only "Video for Linux 2" is available
4) Install vlc-1.1.9-1
5) Repeat step 2 and notice that now also "Video for Linux" is available

v4l is deprecated and should no longer be used. The reason why v4l is no longer available is simply because the v4l headers have been removed since 2.6.38.

OK, I thought something got broken between build 1 and 2. Thanks Jan.
