It doesn't matter so I didn't mention it, but it's de_DE.UTF-8.
Same problem with fr_FR.UTF-8 and es_ES.UTF-8 for example.

No, I can't tell a link of the fix.
I compiled mirage-svn.

Status? The GTK open dialog is dutch for me, but mirage is english so i guess it doesnt support foreign languages

This is not needed because mirage from svn does not have this issue.
