Description:

Skype crashes when trying to open it.

Additional info:
* skype 2.2.0.25-1, gnome-shell 3.0.2-1
* Every package is up to date

there is an issue and the whole internet is buzzing about. work around is to delete ~/.Skype/shared.xml

Maybe release an update of skype without that file for the time being?

that's a problem only skype can fix. as you see that file is in your home directory and not in package
