Steps to reproduce:
install arch youtube-dl
attempt to download a youtube playlist:

youtube-dl http://www.youtube.com/playlist?p=PL3B517E73DA79FB14

I think I have to report upstream, ./youtube-dl <playlist> will always work , /usr/bin/youtube-dl <playlist> , with absolute path, not.

Found a bugreport /request upstream, my url test was incorrect notice the "my_" :
