By default deluge tries to use pygtk, although it can be run through the commandline Additional info: deluge 1.3.2-1 Steps to reproduce: Uninstall pygtk (if installed) Install deluge Try and run deluge A python import fails "import gobject" |

My mistake, its listed as an optional dependency
