Description:

Downloading the vlc package from arch mirrors: vlc can't find it's tls plugins.
( Occurs when trying to open https streams )

Building from latest vanilla PKGBUILD from abs: Plugins are there.
Maybe gnutls-libs were missing at compilation time.

* observed for vlc 1.1.9-2; don't know wether this happens on other versions

I think you can rebuild it from ABS.
I mean: edit the the PKGBUILD and enable it.

It is enabled by default by ./configure
As I wrote compiling with the vanilla PKGBUILD from abs did work,
so i think it was a bug at compilation time. ( missing lib, maybe make gnutls a makedepend )
