Description:

The Archlinux package of pcsclite (1.7.2-1) is compiled with
--disable-libudev --enable-libusb
while pcsclite is obviously moving towards libudev (which is already the default) - see http://ludovicrousseau.blogspot.com/2011/02/pcscd-now-uses-libudev-instead-of.html

Shouldn't the Archlinux package follow this trail?

I compiled a custom trial package with libudev support and have not had problems with it up to now.
