Description:

I recently noticed that settings for gnome-mplayer were not being saved so I reported it upstream:

http://code.google.com/p/gnome-mplayer/issues/detail?id=521

It seems installing dconf allowed me to save my settings again. I don't know if you prefer adding dconf as a dependency or trying to disable dconf during compilation though.

Additional info:
* gnome-mplayer 1.0.3-2

I removed the "dconf" dependency a while ago (cf. r46877) as there was some feature request and as I realized we build "--without-gconf" anyway. I'll probably just remove that option and add the "dconf" dependency again.
