A kernel panic occurs if I try to bring the wlan interface up. This problem only exits on x86_64.

This is a staging driver, they are not guaranteed to work at all, and you should not use them on systems that you need to be stable.

The bug still exists in kernel 2.6.39 and there is no response from upstream.
