Description:
If python-flup is not installed the fastcgi module doesn't function. I would suggest an optdepend?

Additional info:
* 1.4.28-6


Steps to reproduce:

1. Install lighttpd.
2. Install python-webpy
3. Try to run the hello world cgi script with the following configuration:


fastcgi.server = (
"/site/" => (
"localhost" => (
"socket" => "/tmp/site-fastcgi.socket",
"bin-path" => "/srv/http/site/hello.py",
"max-procs" => 1,
"bin-environment" => (

It might be your cgi app that depends on python but lighttpd does not for sure.

Edit - python-webpy does have a dependency for python-flup . My mistake, looking at the wrong place for where the problem should be addressed.
