If python-flup is not installed the fastcgi module doesn't function. I would suggest an optdepend? Additional info: * 1.4.28-6 Steps to reproduce: 1. Install lighttpd. 2. Install python-webpy 3. It might be your cgi app that depends on python but lighttpd does not for sure.

Edit - python-webpy does have a dependency for python-flup . My mistake, looking at the wrong place for where the problem should be addressed.
