DetailsDescription:
Once I connect my Dell Inspiron 6400 to my TV using S-Video, the screen starts flickering about every 10 seconds. I have read in several forums that similar problem existed in the past when KDE used to check for connected monitors repeatedly. Disabling "Display Management change monitor" service does not help, however it does reproduce flicker once restarted immediately. My gues is that something else is also calling the same function for monitor check, however at the moment I am not able to pinpoint it yet. It might be difficult to fix it. However it would be great to find a workaround somehow :) Additional info: * package version(s) xf86-video-intel 2.15.0-1 X.Org X Server 1.10.1 * config and/or log files etc. xorg.cong attached Steps to reproduce: 1) Connect TV using S-Video and wait. |
