Description:
The package description from all GTK+ packages is "The GTK+ Toolkit (*version number)". That's basically saying "The GIMP Toolkit+ Tooklit (*verson number*). Perhaps it should be changed? Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: |

Also, a quick Google search ( http://www.google.com/search?q=%22The+GTK%2B+Toolkit%22 ) suggests that 459,000+ pages use the GTK toolkit as an expression.
2) According to https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PKGBUILD#pkgdesc" :
"The description should be about 80 characters or less and should not include the package name in a self-referencing way."
So this should be rewritten as "A toolkit for X11" or similar.
This exists in gtk2 2.24.5-3.

i don't care about gtk (imo we should drop it)
I second the dropping of gtk, it's only use is for xmms, and Audacious is a good replacement for that :)
