DetailsDescription:
In order to serve DNS packets in a way that makes Active Directory clients happy when running Samba 4 as AD domain controller, BIND needs to be compiled with two additional options. One is --with-gssapi, to allow Vista/Win7/Win2k8/Win2k8r2 clients to perform signed dynamic updates. The other is --with-dlz-dlopen to allow storing the DNS data in Active Directory so it can be replicated to other AD DCs. For more information, see the Samba4 HOWTO (https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba4/HOWTO#Step_8_Configure_DNS) Attached is a PKGBUILD file that adds these two options. |
This task depends upon
PKGBUILD
I have implemented this in bind-9.8.0.P1-2 which I just put in [testing].
If no issue is reported for it within a day or so, I will move it to [extra].
