DetailsDescription:
Since initscripts having been updated to 2011.04.1-2, I cannot boot Arch using my custom kernel(it works well with the initscripts-2011.02.1-1-i686), it told me that "FILESYSTEM CHECK FAILED", while the stock kernel still works well. I figured out that there may be something wrong in the rc.sysinit. And I fixed it using the attached patch. Additional info: initscripts version:2011.04.1-2 custom kernel version:2.6.38.6 filesystem:ext4 |
This task depends upon
rc.sysinit.patch
However, this problem should already be solved in 2011.05.2, which just moved to [core]. Could you try it out and let me know if it solves your problem?
