DetailsThe patches from http://staff.washington.edu/chappa/alpine/patches/ are gone now that alpine is no longer developed by the university of Washington.

Additional comments about closing: I've put re-alpine-2.02-3 in testing. Once it's moved to extra, I'll remove alpine.

I might replace alpine by re-alpine. I'll need to look into it further.
