DetailsDescription:
Screen saver kicks in even if mplayer2 is playing video. This broke after a recent system update, it has worked with 2.0-10 previously. I rebuilt 2.0-10 and it works after that. Steps to reproduce: 1. turn off dpms $ xset -dpms 2. set screensaver timeout to 10 seconds $ xset s 10 600 3. start a video with mplayer2 and see that screen gets black after 10 seconds |

I dont think its a good idea to install something from testing on a non-testing though.
Not sure why my own built package works, i think you should try to reproduce the problem and look into it.
Your build may be linked against more libs than the one I made in a more restrictive environment (which is safe to install on non-testing by the way). I suggest you to compare the output of ldd/readelf -d on mplayer2-2.0-10 and on your build.
Reproduce the problem (see above, takes one minute) and then see if problem is gone if you rebuild with libxss installed.
It would take you max five minutes.
In the template you ask for how to reproduce the error, right now it looks like the maintainer only perform rebuilds, no testing.
Thanks for taking your time anyway.
