Can you change the label of the input at the bottom of edit
pages in the wiki from "Summary" to "Reason for editing"?
(or similar)
This would lead more people to write "why" they have done the edit, instead of explaining "what", "where", "how"... all of which are self-evident by looking at the diff. It would help a lot especially with unexplained deletion of content. It could also be taken into consideration to highlight it in bold, so that less people ignore it. A discussion is going on at the referenced link (
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Help_talk:Style#Edit_summary
); as stated by Pointone there, this task could be handled easily
also by wiki admins.
If you think a message or translation can be improved you should
report this upstream. I don't really want to maintain such custom
changes if not really needed.
