DetailsThe last wget release is 1.12 and dates back to September 2009. In October 2009 they pulled a patch fixing a bug concerning certificate verification. [1]
This bug wrongly causes certificates issued for *.foo.tld to mismatch foo.tld. Among others, this affects github.com (causing all PKGBUILDs with sources at github to break).
