When installing Gnome 3 dependency, lib32-gtk2 (2.24.4-1) you encounter: usr/bin/gtk-query-immodules-2.0-32: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64. Downgrading to lib32-gtk2 (2.20.1-2) does not allow gnome3 to be ran, due to the libgdk-x11-2.0 dependency being missing. The packages seem to be fine. Must be a problem at your end.
