Description:
I updated the kernel to version 2.6.38.4-1 via pacman. Since then my usb mouse (Logitech G500) is not working anymore.
lsusb recognizes the mouse as connected, but it does not show up on "xinput list".
Downgrading to 2.6.38.3-1 solves the problem.

Since the latest kernel is 2.6.38.5 does the problem occur with that kernel? Did you check the upstream bugtracker?

Problem still there in 2.6.28.5
Could not find anything upstream.
