Using the original package vs. self compiled package from ABS instead of the svn version might be useful next time. This way we could see if just a rebuild is needed.
I saw today, that new version 1.3.2 is out. There is written "Fix: Compiler optimization -O3 makes Garmin maps crash." in changelog. Maybe it will solve this bug?
