Make sure the right device and connector is selected in Sound Settings → Input, and that the input volume is high enough.

pulseaudio has some plugin updates that for instance integrates pulseaudio into wine. To get sound in such apps I have installed yaourt -S gnome-settings-daemon-nopulse

There is something on AUR called wine-pulse, but as it either installs on .25 git or .24 wine, which is outdated, and as the yaourt pkg wine-pulse does not install per se, I wonder if there might be some possibility of integrating the wine-pulse patch(es) into pulseaudio. Would be nice, as pulse is still not fully integrated and supported by all apps.

linfan: That is not the topic of this bug.

marciosr: Is this still an issue?
